well... they don't actually add power, they just free up some little power losses
i would say a full, well-tuned exhaust system is the best bet.
my friend got a used set of Pipercross 272' camshafts plus adjustable cam pulleys for just about RM500 ... u might wanna think about that.
Well, the point of the pulleys are to increase power transfer efficiency. Less weight to pull = better power transfer. If the engine is badly tuned, the pulley would not make a significant difference, now would it? The rest is all the placebo-affect taking over

And as for the cams, 272 is just about right for fast road specs. Not too high, not too rough. And RM500 for the cams & pulley is suspiciously cheap...

Hell, a good set of adjustable pulleys would cost as much for some cars
