shorten ur shifting time... but mostly, for driving feel la... when u shift short short, feels like driving sequential....

actually u can relate the 2 thing together.... but also got minor differences la...
for shortshifter, the batang is vr much shorter... the throw is usually not much difference with stock...
for quickshifter, the batang not necessary be shorter, but the throw is definitely much shorter....

mine is more of a quickshifter... but the batang also shorter than stock about 1cm plus...

what batang that is very much shorter?

RM300? can geh. Using stock HU, using stock clarion, then get my 2nd hand woofer, then find howie install RM99 de amplifier.. Confirm better that stock.. Or else, find howie install the package (amp + component for RM200, then get my woofer. Haha.)


***Kevin, on that TT attendance list, is unfair for domo_kun if you put him FFK.. He got told me 3 days before the TT that he might be got work. I think you should remove it and he had told blackpc that he can't come..

1 question sifoo sky.. how does it feel when we change the gear if we already installed the shortshifter like urs.. does it changes or engages the next gear faster than standard or what?

I got 1 experience test driving my fren wira 1.6XLi where he changed to shortshifter.. I can tell there is no free-play on the gear, a lil' bit stiff, but it helps to changed the gear quickly n more accurate.. Really enjoy to drive in a freeway but not suitable in a traffic jam lor.. Well that is my experience.. Can u give any opinion sifoo sky?

heheh just now got nothing better to do, went out on all sunway-damansara-sunway track

from ldp to jalan damansara to jalan duta to jalan bangsar and back to npe

lol, lots of things happened on the way

car accident along ldp, a bunch of kenari kena tahan at jalan duta, one vw toureg accident after hitting a wira after smarttag in npe toll, lol

and then, i smoked one mg roadster, but he didnt play much

i smoked a person in the mercedes benz coupe 300ce with 3.0 v6 24 valves, doing over 200hp, heheh, thank god to the crank pulley and alignment setup, i was able to beat the cocky benz during the stretch from jalan bangsar to npe, lol, after that, he released his accelerator pedal, guess he was scared to the balls, lol

harder abit to engage coz the pivot point is higher adi... simple physics u learn in secondary school...
potong oem stick wont make ur shift throw shorter la... the stick it only looks shorter...

yeap... u can shift up/down faster, given u get the right feel and amount of force needed to shift... at first when u change it, u feel its vr hard to engage gear... soon, when u get the hang of it, u can shift up n down relatively fast...

yeah, its enjoyable driving in freeway when engaging 3rd-4th-5th gear.... it will be harder to shift at 1st-2nd gear.... so, traffic jam abit susah la when u need to shift up/down 1st n 2nd gear often....
