Hi there everyone. I am a newbie here, so just want some advice on my Elba kitchen hood. There's no enough suction or totally no suction at all. Recently just installed it and up to now still can't use it. Don't know if it's the hood or ducting problems. By the way, if the celling to high, will it affect the suction power? Anyone encounter this problem before? Thank you

I think it's ducted properly but my original 6 inch ducting was connected to the apartment 4 inch pvc pipe. The distance from my pot and hood also standard one.

Yup, correct. I already ask people to install reducer 6 inch to 4 inch but still not working. Maybe the ducting to pvc at celling there to high then the pvc pipe to outside the wall too long ( ard 20 feet )... Sigh, management just told me that my kitchen hood "no power" one...

Thanks for the concern, but I didn't install the carbon filter. Anyway, will ask people to check the pvc pipe on the ceiling.
