Bro, i got 2 monitors - Dell Ultrasharp 2709wp model. Both have the same problem which the on/off switch or maybe the whole monitor become malfunction. The power-on led is in blue all the time as long as you connect the power cable, but the screen is black, and you cannot turn off the monitor although you push the on/off button. The other buttons is not functioning as well.

This problem will happen if the monitor was in the on mode (doesn't matter the pc is on or off) and suddenly got black out or there was one occasion where my cat accidentally step on the main power switch. The monitors will become malfunction for sometimes. If the monitor in the off mode, the problem won't happen. The thing is, last year it happened twice and after i kept it for 2 -3 months in the box, those monitor can be used again. It seems like there is some reset need to be done to make them work.
