I beg to differ, besides TYPE-MOON the Fate series and KnK do not share any other similarities. Rather it was actually Shingetsutan Tsukihime and KnK. For those of you who have watched Tsukihime, you would remember some resemblance with the protagonist bearing the same surname Shiki, and also the power of the Mystic Eyes of Death.----
