My take is that this bdr Malaysia will be empty white elephant project unless they attract large tech companies to confirm that they are relocating here BEFORE they start building the office blocks.

If they did, wouldn't that make Cyberjaya useless dy?

Because when Cyberjaya was created under TunM's 1st tenure as PM, he envisioned it to be the Silicon Hub of Malaysia. I recall that it's still not that developed yet after all these years.

As long as ecovest could sustain holding cost, need not develop soon; could wait until overhang is reduced substantially then begin development.

True, but Bandar Malaysia biggest advantage over Cyberjaya is its location of development. KL is still a very attractive address for investors

Why most the world top tech MNC set up their asean hq and data centres in Singapore? Not mly... Despite the utilities cost and Manpower more expensive in Singapore

main purpose for ecrl always for cargo transportation...

Simple reasons as these developers know that it is very highly risky leverage to embark such without seeing any returns and to work with Ekovest it is nail in the coffin

Ekovest will most probably develop the master plan, roads and infrastructures. Then sell each individual high rise land plots to other developers to market.

Ekovest's name doesn't rhyme with quality or prestige in the housing development sector

But listed company got limitations... Anything major need shareholders approvals... Bursa approval etc

Privately held have little more freedom...

Parks actually waste of money to maintain … they can build a decent park there like titiwangsa size still have ample spaces for development … there are 2 MRT stations underneath, good location for potential development …
