I am quite certain that planeswalkers would be in as that AD appears in a magazine only for distributers and such of games. Doubt wizards would want to just overhype something to distributers.

Still, its just quite and not 100%.

Hey esca_flo, glad to hear your getting back to magic. It is one of the best games to go competitive with now.

Regarding the con, it would help if you could tell us who did that to you as one of us here might know him (or her).

I am usually at Comics Corner SS15 on fridays, and Comics Corner Damansara Jaya on saturdays for the FNM.

Hey somebody19. Glad to hear you are interested in MTG. It is a really nice game and you should at least give it a try and since you have the moolah, it would be a great time to start.

Im not sure where SS19 is excatly, but there are a few places HERE. I do play FNM's at SS15 on Fridays and at Damansara on Saturdays. If you do not have any friends playing just drop by and make some. Once you get into the game Im sure you can convince your friends to join you as well.

There really isnt much tips I can give you on how to get started but if you haven't played before, you might want to get a starter and give it a go. Also getting another player to explain to you how to play is a great idea. Magic is a really simple game to explain anyone could pick it up and play in a couple of minutes. Any starter deck would be fine but if you really dont know how to play the game, you might want to pick up one of the newer 10th Edition starters.

There are a couple of newbies around and most of em don't come on to LYN forums. Almost everyone there is friendly and would gladly teach you as much as they know about the game.

Ps. Just thought my lady-friend how to play the game. Bought a 2 player starter and realize its just 2 booster packs, rules, and 20 lands. So don't get the 2 player starter and get the pre-constructed deck instead. Unless of course you can get as lucky as the 2 packs I got from the starter (underground river and pithing needle).

If you're looking to fetch a good price, you probably want to offload them on ebay as there are more collectors in the US as is. I bet there are many collectors locally but it is kinda hard to locate them.

Hey decay, I see that your at damansara? Probably the nearest place for you to go is to the DJ comics corner. FNM's every saturday with quite alot of players sometimes.
