yes i have read the FAQ... and i usually post in the photography>photo gallery section...the problem is sometimes the post count wont go up...maybe after i post 2-3 posts then only it will go up...so its smth like 2-3posts=1 post count...dunno is my eyes trick me or is it a slow server response or bug...if theres already a thread regarding this issue please link me to the thread...thank you very much

There are no bugs that we know off on the post count system. Would be easier if you told us exactly where you posted when the post wasn't added.

AFAIK, even deleted posts will not reduce your post count unless reset/deducted by admin/staff

uh... yeah... i opened my eyes wide when i read that...so it got into my head edi

1) The total cumulative posts is monotonic increasing; it doesn't get reset even if threads are purged. The "most active in" is counted from the forum's current state, so it doesn't count your posts if they are old and have been purged.

2) "Most active in" provides an extra dimension of information that the total does. This.. isn't hard to figure out
