Is it true that if using dealer system jpj ownership transfer, we can do thumbrpint first between seller and buyer to lock the ownership transfer before the ebatal to come out?

Once ebatal come out then it will change ownership to buyer(puspakom done already before thumbprint)?

I traded in my old car to my new car SA (he happens to have a used car biz as well) using eAuto by using my thumbprint on his laptop computer.
When I checked at mySikap after that, the car was no longer under my name.

The car didn't have any outstanding loan, so e-batal was not an issue.

By scanning your thumbprint you give your permission for the dealer to do the ownership transfer. If ownership is still claimed by bank of course the dealer cannot proceed.

To have that facility, the used car dealer or any business have to pay to JPJ for the service for certain amount. Cannot recall how much per year and it does not matter how many transaction.

So, the transfer is at JPJ level, not dealer system.

I sold my car on Sunday. The dealer came to my house and do transaction everything and transfer the money into my account on the spot. Everything was done in less than 30 min. I don't have to go to JPJ or do anything. Only take back my road tax to claim refund from insurance company.
