From what I read through the twitter comments.

TS did indeed tried to reached out to the youtuber before striking his videos.

This wasn't shared by TS personally but by his close circles.

Not sure about the truth to it.

if TS makes parody and derivative art, that means he won't get sued by the original IP holder, but at the same time he can't claim ownership of it either when others comment on it as part of fair use

hm, if that's true, then it still can be considered "reporting" (i.e. adding pictures to illustrate what is being talked about). but i dunno, i'm not expert in this 

Our of curiosity, anyone seen the utube video or am I missing something? Cause the utuber is not like trying to defend himself using TS artwork, he even suggest to black it out or chop it off.

errrr.... doesn't matter, TS signature on the artwork is there anyway. The utuber didn't remove it so either he name him or not people will still find out.

Also....he named him cause that's exactly what happen since TS did copystrike him which is abusing the system. If I were him, I too will rant. Doxxing however is different which the utuber did not do and in fact discourage people from doing it.

Btw, this and that is different. TS sounds like the utuber is out to get him and doxxing which is not what I seen. That's why I asked whether I'm missing something or TS making up stories to make him look like abused victim.

1. Why is the onus on TS to make the contact? Shouldn’t this falls on the one who wanted to use the picture?

so in regards to harrassment, i would say TQ is not at fault

whatever we talk now is crap la. Since we dont trust either TS or TQ (I dont 100% trust TQ personally), let TS or TQ release all conversation between them for us to judge and to resolve this peaceful. I know somewhere in between this 2 guy is overstepping their boundary. Orang buta pun tahu la.

anyway, now talk talk talk also no use if the TS or TQ keeping their conversation private. Meaning to say, /k shouldnt even waste their time talking when all their conversation is kept private.

as for the witch hunt thing, if he did manipulate them by saying what you did, then yeah hes a  fucking asshole. BUT if he didnt, then you just accused him for something he didnt do.
