Actually it is a legal action. It is under their DMCA law. As long as TS owns the artwork, he shouldn't be afraid. I did abit of research and realize the youtuber can sue TS for false claim, which is illegal under their DMCA law.

TS is initiating a copyright claim under the DMCA law. He can choose to press the claim by going to court, which is the next step, but TS is not doing this, he is hoping to settle it pescefully. But dumb youtuber insist that TS is making false claim, which is a crime under their DMCA law. So youtuber is desperate now because he got 2 copyright strike, he wants to take TS to court to clear the claim.

Actually no, he is a claimant. If he sits it out, he is still a claimant. Onus now is on youtuber to prove TS is making false claim.

You are right. It is actually a fan art, TS can't sell rights to it. But not sure whether youtuber can still use it legally

After 90 days the claim dissapears. TS doesn't have to enforce it.
