There is nothing to talk about CHO consistency when he does not perform at all when call upon. How long has CHO with CHE already ? Of all his cameo appearance, i dont remember even once that he make an impression. His attitude in the pitch does not help either. He have to be loan out so he can play regularly.

I will field MOUNT any day over CHO, MOUNT have more to offer, more pressing and running. On the latest match CHO play, he cant even do a winger job properly, he dont make run on the channel to drag the fullback wide and creating space. All he do is just sit at RM position and when he receive the ball, he dont run at defender either, then he will make a square pass. When he dont get the ball, he whine too.

Just ridiculous. Starting Mount on the wing ahead of CHO because of workrate pressing and running instead of the actual contribution on the field.
This is similar to Jose starting Oscar, Willian ahead of KDB, Salah.

why is it the 1st post squad video still using 14/15 season?

The game i mention is the BRIGHTON frenly where CHO play for 70+ minute. To be fair MOUNT and CHO operate differently, this could be LAMP tactic/formation. MOUNT/TIMO will cut into middle even on paper they start as winger which that could be also because their nature instinct as AM and CF. While CHO like to stay wide as true winger. If is not tactically then that will really looks bad on CHO where an AM get ahead on your winger spot. As a bench player, u have to impress when are giving the chance, but so far to me CHO didnt, and REECE did and that why he is on the way to be our starting RB.

I will not say KDB/SALAH are better than OSCAR/WILLIAM at that moment, but i think KDB was comparable to OSCAR but definitely SALAH are behind WILLIAM.

On LIV game where we got outplay badly obviously the stats does not looks good. Only TIMO has a good game, while KAI and MOUNT was poor. In midfield we have KANTE which i think did a good job on winning the ball and together with KOVA, both of them are comfortable to dribbling the ball forward if space permit. JORG suppose to be the pass master behind like FAB/PIRLO but he never did the forward pass enuff. With the overload middle employ by LIV there is no space for KANTE/KOVA to drive the ball forward and with JORG they are press badly. That why i think playing GIROUD will be better at LIV game, at least CB can do a long ball instead of recycling pass with KEPA.

I dont get the comparison for preseason so i wont discuss further as it is entirely for different purposes and thanks to covid..we had a teribble preparation.

And for me i have no complaint on 1st game since we do not have proper preseason. Understandable. Rusty. Lack of fitness etc. Which is also why Lampard already confirmed that today's match is for first team as well.

again, nothing against Mount. Just that the selection to put Mount because "he can press" and so on must stop. He MUST BE involve in the game too. Assist..key passes..crosses..defending..and everything must be on par. Same must go to CHO as well. If 10mins of competitive and lack of preseason game is the reason to justify "Mount is better than CHO at the flank"....i need to drop this argument altogether.

The entire liverpool team is good not just because gegenpressing and everyone press alone. They collectively put up a good show in each of their departments. It is simple as that. Their keeper not kelong. Solid defensive..salah and mane not just good because they just press.
They contributed in their respective roles.

For Mount..if u are being deployed as a winger..i dont care u are being force or what u need to put a good shift as proper winger. Thats it. Not because "he can press"
