I understand given, what is meant by @syazwan is that Sarri had put a benchmark for Lamps to reach. And even with that, he didn’t reach it last season. Correct me if i’m wrong

It’s the truth, and it hurts for us fans. But to put into context again, yes Lamps is different than other coaches we had before this (except Di Matteo maybe, he’s a club legend too). In Lamps situation is a bit more difficult with hazard’s departure and transfer ban, but that would not be an excuse now, would it..?

Now fans can be seen divided between #LampardOut and #BackLampard. You can clearly see that on twitter. And i understand the reasons for both

Imho, we won’t win any cup this season or the next either. Fixing defensive issues while changing your first XI is not going to help Lamps in his position. And for what it’s worth, he needs to realize this himself before bringing us down the table further

He needs to:

- find a fixed starting XI (most important)
- settle the defensive issue (either a pair of tomori/silva or zouma/silva)
- ask kante to sit the fuck back and not moving forward like he loves to
- send christensen/rudiger out. Them dudes are not gonna help, better let them play elsewhere
- fuck anak emas off. He’s the reason other players playing out of position. Need to get real, lamps
- play players in their best position
- find a permanent tactic (4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-3) i don’t care which, but from there then can only players gel themselves better

This is just my humble opinion as a blues fan, not finding any trouble in this forum ya it definitely could be wrong, but as other fans would, i would like to share my insight on this too. And personally for me, i’d definitely back lampard through and through. But like @syazwan said, the gaffer needs to deliver. He needs to be ruthless. Period

I love chelsea to the core. But in the same perspective, it hurts quite abit to see a club legend being a bit hard-headed in terms of how he decides the team will play

This is not the championship. It’s the premier league, and it’s very demanding for both players and coaches all around. Lamps need to adapt and he needs to do it quickly

I don’t want the relationship between him and roman, and most importantly the fans, to go haywire just because of this

That’s true, kante is at his best when he sits back but when he moves forward, defense GG. And it’s becoming abit frequent lately that, whenever he intercepts he tend to give it away liao

The issue with mount is when he plays in other player’s original position, then can see chemistry lari already. It’s either mount plays or havertz plays. If both play then either one would underperform imo

Let’s see how we do in sevilla’s match later

Btw in premier league news, Petr Cech is listed among the 25 chelsea players

Kepa must have caused such trouble for that to happen but it’s more of a backup plan iinm
