Seems Philips Malaysia is very slow to bring
new 2020 models (last digit in model is 5), not even OLED to offer here.

Noticed that DESA Home listed on Lazada Android model 50PUT8215, but no stock yet.

Singapore and Australia has much better choice, with 2020 and OLED models.

someone said Philips TV not very long lasting...
2years like that.. sure problems..

open up the TV... parts from others brand TV like LG, Samsung etc.
so basically they don't really produce the parts. mostly bought outside...

That is common for many tvs, not just Philips.

SONY and Panasonic both get their OLED panel from LG Display.

By next year, even Samsung is going to get their LCD panel from China manufacturers.
