Hi all sifu, need some advise, want to extend below, no wall hacking. I got quoted around rm11k but not sure if the price is too expensive? Im expecting half the price. One of the picture done halfway is not my house, just taking my neighbour house pic

Wall, roofing, door, tiles, wiring, plumbing, grille, painting ... 5k not possible .... 10k.

the door is solid wood or metal type?

bricks is cement or red type

got tiles or not? roofing?

11k is quite cheap

The advice will be to double up everything you estimate. It will save you from over budget.

if you extend it till the neighbour's boundary/fence how do you deal with them yea? is there like some sort of written/verbal agreement or how?
you gotta polish/finish up the neighbour facing wall nicely with your own money la right?

You need to list scope of work. If just put wall expensive

Majlis perbandaran don’t allow to do all to the fence. If someone complaint they will come tear it down

Just a word of caution, cheap can be trouble as well. Try to find something in the middle price range

I agree with this statement. I have recently asked for several quotations. The lowerest is 4x the highest quoted. But, his quotaion is merely one page. I have the highest quote with more details (more than 4x in term of the number of pages ). So, at the end, I did not choose the lowerest.
