I know there are quite a bit of web design company / freelancers lurking around.

I am looking to 'digitalize' my business by having a online store (e commerce) for food ingredients (i.e meats, fresh/frozen food).

1. I don't have big budget (looking at RM3000), so please don't offer to custom code/write clean code/build from scratch/etc etc etc. (This online store is an experiment, where we think it will fail, thus we ain't gonna throw much money in it)
2. Looking for 'simpler' solution such as WordPress + WooCommerce/BigCommerce etc etc (I will need your expertise to advise me on which to use)
3. Some 'customization'/rules on shipping rate/method are needed as my product can't be shipped via those normal courier (poslaju etc etc)
4. Apart from shipping rules issue, others are pretty standard, less than 50 products, not expecting huge traffic, I have few other similar sites as reference
5. I have basic IT knowledge, so you won't be talking/explaining to a wall
6. Time for completion; 2 weeks max ?
7. Looking at Payment Gateway such as billplz/stripe which are free

may be you can list out your budget, when you want the store to be running and items you are selling that could help to know what is expected

if you are not requiring custom design and customization and able to work along the lines of ready functions, that budget is doable

next, decide on your payment gateway & shipping method & charges

I believe all the feature I need already has ready made plugin for it, just need someone well versed in this to choose the appropriate 1 and put it all together.

For payment gateway, we are looking at the basic Billplz/Stripe for now (FOC mah)
If this things does actually reach certain level of sales, then we might switch to better feature gateway payment.
Hosting wise, I am looking at Hostiger MY Business package which is RM12.95/month (or maybe the personal package)


p/s : Just to be frank upfront, I am looking and talking with freelancers from upwork and fiverr too

Wordpress would be the best option, depending on the complexity, i can get it up and running in a couple of days. Site will be built from the ground up on wordpress and no aftermarket themes will be used. Can deliver it way below the budget you're offering too.

wordpress + woocommerce can be bit tricky tho.
but the plugins library wordpress offer is dem good.
