Is anyone here facing the same issue with their AW ?

My AW has been acting up lately , the watch suddenly runs out of battery even though its at 40 -50 % . It already happened twice for me. The typical charge required animation comes up and when I charge it , it goes from 10 % to 50% in a matter of a few minutes .

Does this mean I'd have to send it back for a warranty claim or is this some stupid bug. Too lazy to send it to an ASC . One peculiar note is that it happens whenever I play around with the watch faces , the haptic motor would go silent first before it dies.

you could try to reset the watch & pair it back to your phone. it may help before sending it for any claims.

I've tried resetting and unpairing. Nothing changed.

Actually, it became worse. The AW now dies at 70% battery. It's slowly creeping up. From 40 -50 -60 -70. bangwall.gif

I've set an appointment for a service tommorow.

BTW I've never had any experience from an apple warranty claim. How long would it usually take to fix the watch or replace it? Really need it quick since I log in my exercises there daily sad.gif

I think they will replace you a new watch instead of repairing it. For my experience it took about 6-7 days.

it depends on the service center, the major ones are quite fast if they determine its fit for a replacement & have stock available for the same color/model. i got my iphone replaced on the same day previously, send in the morning, got a call to collect in the afternoon...

Switch said it'll take within 7-10 days . Somehow they say they'll try to 'fix' it. We'll see how it goes . Hopefully they'll replace it , I wouldn't want to be stuck with a lemon.

how did it go? received a replacement?

yeap!

Received a new watch after they replicated the issue . Somehow feels much better and smoother than the 1st one , probably got a lemon.

Took it 8 days for collection though , which I think is OK considering they're coming from Singapore.

Anyone has issues with their series 6 watch?

Just bought less than a week, the screen failed. The backlight or something failed, u can see some image under direct light, and the screen display half image only. Another half only got lines. Attached screenshot since can't upload video.

Machines service centre closed until further notice. I'm not sure if this warrants a 1 to 1 exchange.

As long as they can replicate the issue, they'll replace it 1 to 1 assuming it was damaged due to external factors.

They hardly ever swap out parts on The AW. Mine had a battery issues and I was given a new replacement after 5 days.

Also try contacting apple support, they'll probably tell you to post it.
