Where to overclock my FBU or Multiplier in the bios, i can't seem to find it

Do i need to update my BIOS? If so, how since i don't have a floppy

During start-up....just hit the DEL key. Ctrl+F1 only works when you are in the bios and need to change the ram timings.

As for bios...i believe urs is F4 bios.....try updating to F5M....It's still beta but its so far the best bios up to date.

got it thanks, my cpu is now 3.15ghz from 2.4ghz...can go more but i'm afraid tongue.gif ... whats the symptom of it is maxed?

I am sure your proc can go higher then that....2.4 to 3.15 is just a mere 700Mhz. But make sure u have good cooling. On air, try to stay below 1.55v. Without good cooling, at 1.55v produce quite a lot of EMI.

Try bumping up the voltages and FSB 3 Mhz at a time...until you reach a sweet spot.

edit again...i already off (disable) my EIST

54C wat? Idle or load? Whether to go for WC is really up to you. For P35-DQ6, you have to disable C1E and TM2 in bios to maintain your clock speed.
