oh shi~

guys, i have a problem. i can't seem to open my received MMS's. when i receive them, the small message icon on the left in the inbox is supposed to be a small yellow message and a green right arrow right?

well mine's white and when i try to open it, it says "phone memory full" and asks me to delete some files. the irony of it is, all 68MB of memory is free. but it still won't open.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

well wherever it is saved, i seriously doubt that the MMS will be >50mb. my phone memory's totally free and i'm on a 2gb M2.

any other suggestions?

i don't want to send the phone back for reflashing unless that's the root cause. cause as usual, AP set's take ages to return.

MMS's were fine until my friend sent me one yesterday. it seems awkward as i was previously able to receive them..

anyway, i'd do some backup's and follow your method. BTW, how do you initiate full reset? if it don't work, off to the shop it goes..

my firmware got screwed up after charging the phone one night. sent it for service. came back. camera now screwed up. can't focus at all. upon releasing the shutter button, the whole screen goes white and the phone restarts.

now have to send back for service again.

not sure if they helped me upgrade the firmware when i last sent it in but it's now running the R1ED001 firmware. heard if it?

so should i DIY or send it back for them to solve it?

it's an AP set and it's still under warranty. moreover, i'm lazy. i'd rather have them doing it.

and, i just found out. sometimes, it doesn't restart. it just says "saving" and then jumps to the main screen. but nothing was saved.

i would say a week. as for the bolded part, i seriously doubt so.

i'd bet it's due to a corrupted firmware. reflashing it should solve the problem.


IIANM it's aroud RM50 for that service. you can find them in Garage Sales..

no. he meant unlocking as the phone he has (which is brought in from another country) is locked to a specific telco and will not work with any other SIM cards.

you mean to unlock? IIANM, you have to reflash the software. in this case, it's more of a "re-install" the software.

if you bought your phone locally, you don't have to unlock it. only if your set is locked to a certain telco, then you have to.

i doubt so. the camera module on the K800i is bigger (no? ) than the K810i's. thus, i don't see how a smaller casing would be able to fit a larger module.

ok. my AF mechanism is gone. my K800i won't focus anymore.

no. the K800i and the K850i is in 2 different leagues.

what he's trying to say is that the K850i's camera still loses out to the N95's.

well silver being a lighter color, scratches made to it will be more obvious than a dark color.
