my opinion:

camera:
original driver 2.5 is still the most stable version among all the modded camdriver. this latest firmware, increase the FOCUS speed, and faster photo saving.

acoustic:
hehe, i tried many many modded sound driver (zapf, peter, megabass, w880 850mix and more), none of them satisfying me except this R8BA024 ori acoustic, maybe the volume is not louder than the modded 1, but it promises a clearer sound and louder compare to older FW version.

dude, didnt u try peter's acoustic? is really kicking if u listen with earphone. for loud ringtone, try to change the farfield files with original w880i. u will love it. 

I haven't update my firmware before since the first day I get my phone. SEUS just won't work on my computer, lol.

Do you have any guide for flash it to APAC region firmware thingy?

JPx too loud, 4 block of volume start to feel some noise, so i seek for a better driver that give clearer voice. haha

use original farfield file w880i. superb. really crisp and clear!

Yeah yeah, common answer while I have no idea where to start from even I have the keyword. Yeah sure you could ask me to google all those but at least give me a clearer description. If you don't want to help then it's fine with me. zzz just hate the people keep asking to google yeah I know the google can help us to find answer but at least provide a more clearer guide to start with... No offense..

guys... i'm using K800i too... but it seems that i can't use the phone camera... it opens slow when i slide the lens cover and when i press the snap picture button it doesnt snap picture instead of just come out the green indicator like focusing on the screen... oh ya.. the front camera for video call also seems not working...

u guys know what is this problem about??.. and is it possible to repair it?..

Exposure? How? By the way, just updated my firmware using SEUS and it's R1JG001 now, still not the latest firmware, weird. It's detected as a Hong Kong K800i though.

does anyone realize that the phone can record the live phone conversation?
when it's recorded, it'll be saved under the Music folder; either Phone or M2
it's in .amr extension, playable with Real Player after transferred to a PC
my question now, how do i convert the .amr extension to .wma or .mp3 or any other more commonly used extension?

im trying to use my phone explorer to back up the address book and inbox sms..

but i cant even establish the connection between the software and my k800i.

i plug in the USB cable and select "phone mode".. then open "my phone explorer" and press "connect"..

ERROR!

i dont have bluetooth device for PC..
i guess is the port setting prob.. by default, the COM port is set to "COM1 Communication Port".. what should i change for this?

i change to USB, failed too.. advise pls..

but before that, try this
plugin the usb cable
select "file transfer" instead of "phone mode"
then, go to My Computer and check
you should be seeing one additional drive, which is your phone memory
if you're using M2 memory card, you'll see one more additional drive
try try dulu
