hey anyone here tried to use the latest promotion from digi?

free trial of using k800i to online msn without any charges.

i tried today and i subscribed, downloaded, installed it. but too bad some problem occurs.

it says " this application requires the network usage. Please start again under network coverage. "

until now i still dont know what is the problem, and i already called to the customer service and waiting for their technician to call me back.

p/s : - this application is supported for k800i
- already download and install and also subscribe.
- able to use the phone to online by using wap.

so guys, tried it out with your phone, and if yours work. hope u guys can help me. so do i, if i figure it out, i m willing to teach those who having the problem.

Only if Maxis offers that service perhaps I might try to figure it out for you.

haha i m actually using both digi n maxis. and when i heard of this promotion then i changed it to digi. n try it.

so there is one eh...is there any pics avai outside? i somehow i cannot find one on the net

is there any significant problem with the joystick?...

heard a lot of discouraging comment about thie aspect of the phone....

use auto keypad lock. there is a function at the settings

go settings -> general -> security -> automatic keylock.

i face this problem before when i first bought this phone. =)

depends on how u using it,
if more u using it for play games,it would not be good for joystick

my auto keylock is always active..
the problem is when i want to shut off the alarm...
always accidntly push the net btton..

i use atrik b4 on my k810i but forgot edy how.. its like change the adress or something larr.. realy forget..

oh ic, hmm i didnt face this problem though..

then i have no idea how do u wan prevent from it. unless u disable the internet connection. =/ i havent try before atrik too.. perhaps mayb u can try search it at google and learn how to use it again.

check your internet proxy, if your GPRS required proxy, set the proxy to NO, when you want to use, enable back by setting the proxy to YES.

btw guys.. i m able to use msn on my k800i..

i finally figure out the problem. and everything settle.. it is so fun using the function..

now this makes me love my k800i even more.. =)

im still love it..already more than 3years ..first time without any battery prob..if nokia..abis la..

Hi Everyone~!

I bought a SE K800i last month, thru lelong.my (the 'bid from RM1' auction type)

Yesterday, when i looked at my hp, the screen was white / blank (white screen of death???? ) Then i tried to switch it off - cannot. So i took out the battery, and put it back, and then i tried to switch my hp back on, nothing happened~!!! screen was blank (as in switched off)

So i tried recharging the phone, no effect watsoever, screen still empty, cannot switch on the hp............

Then today when i tried recharging the phone, i saw the infrared port was glowing red (note: NOT blinking, it was glowing, i know blinking means low battery power), and then sumtimes the red glow isn't there anymore, then the glow would appear again.

I know it's not the battery fault coz i tried my battery with my bro's K810i - can work.


This isn't the first time the white screen appeared. The last time it appeared, i just took off the battery, put it back, and switched on, then it worked. But this time, cannot~~~

My bro tried to help me reflash with his comp, he uses WS++, but when he pressed the C button (cancel button) and then connected the hp to the USB cable (which is connected to the comp at the other end), the software cannot detect my phone~ It's not the software prob as the software can detect his K810i phone~

So, currently my phone is in 'mati' mode. Can't be switched on at all. T.T sobz~~~!

So, anybody knows what's the prob with my phone? I hope i don't have to buy a new motherboard or something

Sounds like a corrupted phone. In the past you used to be able to fix it with some software. But now you need to bring it back to the service center.

I got that problem when I took off the battery too fast after switching it off

hmm erom problems i think...

lelong.com.my????..... i thought that site is full of cons and tricks one...nice to see, BAD TO BUY from there...

i hope u din bid too much for that lousy phone...if 20-30.00 ringgit then still ok...otherwise...u're f***ed...

In Chinese language mode I can view the lunar calender
In English language mode this function is hidden

anyway to enable the lunar calender in English setting mode ?
extra software ?

Heheh...it was my first time buying online, total clueless noob...i got the phone for RM 500~ supposed to be brand new~ sigh~ saw the sellers credentials was sorta good....mana tau the phone was actually trashy~

Had to sent to the service center since there was no other way. Costs me about Rm40. And the 500 you paid for on Lelong, you could have just paid about the same amount at some phone shop. Also brand new.
