u mean the bluescreen prob??? reflash or change hardware might solve the problems...

Word of advice, I think it won't be cheap since the screen usually takes up the bulk of the cost. Plus I can't live with that problem so I don't think a sensible phone user can live with that to save some money.

If it's dirt cheap, then yeah maybe. Otherwise a brand new set is only a few hundred bucks

GUys...one day wheN I was driving, my speaker just shut off suddenly while I listenin to music. Reception problem I think. When press, got sound d.

Then I went to the shop and the guy sorta glued it, it was okay. But then in a few hours, the reception went haywire. When I say bad reception, I MEAN baaaaad reception. Half the time there's no reception. The other half, it says "Emergency Calls Only"

Any ideas people?

its an europe set..
i wanted to giv the handset to my gf's mum
but she onli reads chines/mandarin..
since the set is euro set, it doesnt support chinese language.

I managed to reflashed my fricking old firmware R1KG001 on my K800i to the latest one but the problem now is my ROM chip koyak. That's the main reason why I couldn't save new contacts & set specific ringtones to my contacts. Costs of replacing new ROM chip is RM90 but I dropped the offer from my friend as I'll purchase a new phone to replace my trusty old K800i Allure Brown. I purchased it brand new back in year Feb 2006 & it works perfectly for the past 3 years!

I'm planning to get this phone for around RM550.00...

any reason from discouraging me to purchase this phone?...reasons like phone being unreliable, problematic joystick o keypad hard for messaging?..

please advice me on this...

rm550.. for sure its new set rite... for me this is nice phone with 3mp camera... not much prob with this phone...

No major problems with this model. Basic usage is acceptable. I'm still using it.
