Have you tried going to Maxis website and have the settings send to your phone via their website?

hi
wondering whether can view video files in avi format or not?
or need special software

This phone can support either .mp4 or .3gp, I use Any Video Converter to convert the file format to .mp4 which works really well to me. smile.gif

Vandechrome, I have a question for you, I came across where you said that this phone can read .pdf files. I downloaded from your sharing folder but I couldn't install it. Mind to provide steps to install it? - I used Phone Explorer to install the java application but it says Operation Failed. Thanks! smile.gif

Ah, now I've found the problem. All the while I never knew that there's one zip file isn't a zip file, it's .jar file. Thanks a lot! biggrin.gif

One more thing, is there any limit in terms of the file size?

limit for .jar file or limit for the pdf?if .jar file, there's no limitation for the installer unless u dont have enough memory space..for .pdf file also no limitation, but if the file size too big,the u need quite a long time to open it..

I was talking about the file size of the .pdf, sorry for that.. - My PDF file is about 1MB and it takes quite long to open. shocking.gif shocking.gif

If you want to check how many messages you have, go to File Manager -> Select More -> Select Memory Status -> Phone -> Messages

Hope that helps! icon_rolleyes.gif

That's why I'm reluctant to send my hp for warranty back to the shop, who knows they repair by themselves instead of sending back to the service center. - I still can use my warranty even if I personally send my hp to the service center ya?

Common problem for this phone tongue.gif

I have the same problem too, it happens also when I connect my earphones. The joystick as well, started to behave erratically so I'm going to claim warranty. biggrin.gif

Short battery lifespan happens on my sister's W800i as well, but got a new battery replaced so now is working perfectly. biggrin.gif

I sent my K800i for repairs, since my warranty expiring soon. brows.gif

Ahhhh, after having to collect back my phone the dim light on the phone no longer work as it used to. Like usually when I press a key on locked mode the keypad will illuminate dimly. But now there's no illumination on locked mode. sad.gif

I think it's the updated firmware, anyone can tell me?
