try reformat ur m2, or reinstall the java apps, if cant then reflash is the last resort..

the value of its technology never outdated..oni ppl that care about the design will say its oudated.

if the company hev gud reputation in terms of its service centre and its product, so better u go for it..

suggesting that u convert it k810 first..then play with the acoustic,camdriver, display driver..after that change ur menu icon and then time for patching!

if got warranty, send it..if no, u can reflash it using seus..

there's another alernative beside using official updating application, and it not require internet connection..

u can use XS++ to reflash back ur FW..

it is not easy as what u said..u need to find those FW files first..identify which one suitable with ur hp.

i think u can make se-nse as a gud reference site..

R1KG001 is so damn old man!

the latest firmware is not R8BA024, but R8BF003.

if u are not into modding or u just want to update the FW, u can use SEUS, but make sure that ur phone is no AP set, otherwise it will said that ur phone alredy updated to the latest version

another way is using XS++

AFAIK k800 only supports .3GP files, u need to do a patching to allow using MPEG4 in ur k800
