hey guys...i went on esato forums and found a thread about the ultimate driver for the camera drive..
i'm wondering...how can i get that driver working in my phone?i'm scared that it'll brick the phone like when flashing firmwares n stuff...
and is there anyway to enable megabass on the k800i? btw i'm using the firmware RIED001...do i need to get a camdriver that's compatitable with the firmware?

for change the camdriver, u need to flash with XS. and for megabass, u need to do patch.

is there the risk of bricking the phone in the process of both the updating of the camdrive and acoustic drive?
can i do it with my current firmware?

As long as you're using firmware that is CID 49/51/52, you can mod the phone.
Bricking ? Possible if you did something wrong during the process.

well, i read in esato forums..and theres the CID 49/51/52 thingy...so how do i check whether my phone is moddable or not?i mean the CID thing...

hi, i've recently encountered this problem with my k800i. The prob is, sometimes my handphone will turn itself off automatically. just now, i was messaging some1 and after sent, the phone shut itself down and i have 2 turn it on again. may i know what's the cause of this problem?

anyone encounter this situation:

the phone suddenly not showing contact photo.. like when sms comes in.. no photo of the person appears... and if u open the file manager,, the thumbnails wont work.. just showing crashing image, like in the ie..
and the phone must be restarted, after that, everything just ok



what actualy happen? how to solve it?

i myself using ultimate driver v2. cool, can flash even in daylight.

yayaya...that 1 is cool...i wanna try it..the faster focus and force flash...
i've tried doing it step by step just now...well it said some Mapping ...OK! then it just stopped there...
my question is..how long does it normally take to do finish the process?

less then a minutes, make sure u take off your sim card and also remove the battery and put back the battery before flashing the mod.

then after flashing, remove back the battery before switch on the phone

i use the ultimate driver v2 but i mod a bit, i dont like the delay shutter in twilight landscape.

well..i did notice abit of more visible noise when taking pic...

well, i took the original k800 driver then i pick lines from ultimate driver, one that i need only. so the original driver has being transform to ultimate, my ultimate driver

Step by step instructions for flashing a phone using only XS++
1) Converting to CID52 (if required)
If XS++ detects a DB2020 CID49 or CID51 phone, it will automatically ask if the user wants to upgrade. I can not grab any screenshots of this as my phone is
already CID52. (if someone would do that for me though it would be much appreciated
2) Backing up GDFS
Backing up the GDFS isn't something which necessarily has to be done when flashing firmware, but it is a very good way to ensure you don't damage your phone
beyond repair.
Step 1.
Take battery out of phone and put back in (do not turn phone on). Open XS++ and click Connect. Hold down the "C" button on the phones keypad and connect
the USB cable. If this is the first time you flash your phone you will need to install the Flash drivers I posted further up.
Step 2.
Click on the GDFS tab as shown in the picture.
Step 3.
Click "Backup GDFS" and wait (shouldn't take more than about half a minute).
Step 4.
Done
3) Flashing the firmware
Step 1.
Take battery out of phone and put back in (do not turn phone on). Open XS++ and click Connect. Hold down the "C" button on the phones keypad and connect
the USB cable.
Step 2.
Select the firmwares (make sure you extract them first) by clicking the "..." buttons or simply dragging the file from the explorer to the box (don't get mixed up with
FS and MAIN).
Click "Flash" and wait (this takes a while, 6-7 minutes is normal).
Step 3.
Flashing is done, you can breathe now
4) Customizing your phone
Compulsory if flashing FS
Step 1.
Take battery out of phone and put back in (do not turn phone on). Open XS++ and click Connect. Hold down the "C" button on the phones keypad and connect
the USB cable.
Step 2.
Tick "Customize File System", select model and region/CDA, click flash.
Click here for help picking the right region.
Click here for help picking the right CDA.
Step 3.
Done.

or i must follow the ori fw and fs??

have u ever face a problem after u change the driver? I'm afraid to change it due to hardware problem.
