I know this is not the trading area, but thought it would be more relevant seing that this thread is specfically regarding Onkyo 605 receivers and its siblings.

I am coming back from US in 10 days and will be bringing back any 2 of these receivers below. They are of course brand new and the prices are as follows :

SR605 - RM1900
SR705 - RM2700
SR805 - RM3100
SR875 - RM4800

Let me know asap if anyone is keen on the above or any other related stuff.

Ya you are right. Checked with the US supplier here and said that it need to use the transformer.
Now, does this pose a problem - i mean if i were to buy it from US and then use the step down transformer,
it will be just as good right ? or will there be a difference in sound quality or any other issues that i should be aware of?

Any input will be appreciated, as i am very much a newbie, as u can tell.
