I didn't watch the video for why they make that claim. I quote fellow ktard reply which I totally agree with.
I think the "scam" part happens when the optometrist overpromise / overglorify (or whatever word you like) the capability of such blue light filter lens to be able to overcharge your sorry ass. It is nothing more than a piece of yellow tinted lens that absorbs / reflects strongly a specific band of blue light. Personally I do feel my eyes are less strained after changing to this pair of blue filter specs. I think it is a good investment for the price.

I just set my monitor, laptop and phone to low blue light mode, so far so good

i dunno,.. had to check the receipts,..i'm newbies on glasses,.. still not get used of glasses being cloudy after came out from air conded car,..

It is a very subtle yellowish tint but still perceivable.

Sigh. When you got your specs did they do some filtering test or not by shining blue laser on it to see that most light didn't pass through? Or since you claim you bought hai keras lens, did they at least give you a certificate from the lens manufacturer to show authenticity?
