I hurt my neck when I was practicing headstand and there was a cracking sound when I fell down. The pain is still bearable, just that I can't really turn my head to the left and right now. Is x-ray necessary or should I just go for chiropractic treatment?

Also wondering if most yogis are suffering from body ache after practicing yoga? I do it like 3~4 times a week and the next day I always feel like being badly beaten up. I have bruises on my knees and arms too after doing the bakasana pose sweat.gif Are these normal?

How long have you guys been practicing yoga before you can do the handstand, headstand & etc?

It's the best when you can join Yoga studio so that someone can supervise your posture and provide assistance when your posture is a bit swayed/off.

Warm up is very important for a yogi before performing any yoga pose. Make sure your body has warmed up so that you can perform any pose. If you're stuck at certain pose, always start with the most foundation pose and slowly climb to that

one of my fav is @yoga.tuts, it's important to improve with step by step.

Hurm, regarding knees and arms bruises, i normally get that when i do plank. perhaps, time to change your yoga mat or to put more comfortable material under your knees and arm.

I do attend yoga classes. I practice a lot at home too, guess I was too impatient and tried to nail on my headstand asap.

Just seen. Doc gave some med and hot cream. Don't dare to play play, see my yoga mat now I phobia already sweat.gif
