QUOTE(JoLee @ Sep 9 2020, 05:16 PM) Unless you want to die slowly like an Aussie guy who got paralyzed for a few years before dying after eating raw garden snails as a dare. Thats a rat lungworm. It is present in malaysia as well. It is a nematode that feast on your brain causing meningitis. I hope this message gets to TS before he consume some snails, raw. JoLee liked this post

"Before you eat any garden snails, you have to make sure they are safe to eat. ... There are many species of edible snail, but I would advise you to stick with the common brown garden snail. You should give your snails fresh grated carrot and water every day. You can also feed them fresh herbs for extra flavour." rasa nak muntah |

It’s quite nice. Had it in paris and taiwan.
Paris was in butter and some green herb shit, tasted good. Taiwan it was sort of fried and then you pull it out and dip it in some salt. Not all snails are edible and i dont think the Giant African Snail that we commonly find in our gardens are This post has been edited by knives.: Sep 9 2020, 05:31 PM |

QUOTE(Starbucki @ Sep 9 2020, 05:11 PM) yes you can. The typical snail found in Malaysia is called African snail, a smaller version of Giant African snail. It is listed under edible snail category. Just remember to purge it by feeding it clean water and food or fasting before consuming. |

Yes. I always collect from my garden and cook myself.
But I will throw them into a balang with water for some time for them to berak and clean first |
