Well, my point is they gave TWS Troy, a freaking newly released game (not even released on steam as of now), for free. I don't see the idea of them giving away RDR2 that farfetched, AAA or not.

Never liked Epic, I loyal steam customer, tried Epic for GTA 5, but they cap my download speed and a week after playing, cannot open the game anymore, end up uninstalling the whole thing.

Pay2Win. I am not into this kind of  policy.
DLCs at least provide some new contents and items and the developers can still make good money from it.

For game developer...it's easier to develop mobile games and double the profit rather than making AAA games on console/pc which consume longer time to develop and earning less money

afaik epic runs on third party CDN, there's no real incentive for the CDN to cap your download speed
i've tried on both 100/500Mbps line, they can saturate my wifi speed (havent tried physical connection download speed yet, but i suspect it'll also saturate the entire pipe)
