Not really, if its strata its not public road but road maintain by JMB, as such JMB has authority to stop vehicle entering the compound, such as a condo.

If the compound is not strata, but gated community such as under RT or persatuan, den yes its a public road and as such cant stop vehicle using the public road.

Let me guess, u didnt pay the gate fees to ur taman?

You are limited to just whatever the developer built and put out.

Also, the fees are significantly higher.
IMO, the best is gated community, that has perimeter fencing around the estate, and a built in security entrance.. BUT still maintain individual title.

Sure, you technically can't prevent entrance, as the road is still public, but not many would be robbers know of this fact.. they will all assume the development is GnG and won't bother you.

Yup 11 sen per sq ft for me, but im ok with it, dey take care of my garden, security, d roads n etc

Im ok with no extension, as its enough for me n my family

And also no kindergarten or tadika open in strata, so nice n quiet living

I think it's worth it, but I still intend to install CCTV to deter.

Its strata, so bylaw JMB and majlis can sealed the house and auction the items in the house to get back the unpaid fees
