I am planning to pursue a 3-year degree in computer science in 2021. Just wondering how's the demand in Malaysia for computer science graduates and programmers currently. To be specific I want to be a web developer. And how's the starting salary? hmm.gif

The demand for any IT field, in anywhere, is pretty high actually, especially in machine learning and AI.

And here you go, the average paycheck for web developer in malaysia, with a simple search on google:

Do note that average paycheck =/= starting pay.

And just wonder, which uni are you planning to go?

Hi, you may check out the MMU thread here if you have anything specific to ask about the university:

Tech will have more and more demand as times goes by and is already strong. Couple it with another useful field and you will be even more attractive to employers.

Can you give me a few examples of the fields? As in, which ones have good potential in Malaysia.

Why do you think private uni would be disadvantageous to your employability?
