Hi,

The electrical shop that I go to is suggesting Rubine 70L oven, I did further research and I found some has 18 cooking programme and the rest about 8 and 6. What are cooking programmes actually?

How do I go about choosing the right oven, a built in one.

Thanks in advance

Think of them as shortcuts to set a certain temperature and certain time duration to cook a certain type of food

Nothing a good cook can't do manually

I will go for:
1) Ease of setting temperature for temperature accuracy
2) Easy of cleaning
3) Power consumption.

For point 1), I think a knob with digital display would do the job, or full digital control.

For point 2), I would go for pyrolytic cleaning.

For point 3) is self explanatory.

Before you jump the gun, how frequent a baker would you be and what would you be using that oven for most often? Baking, grilling, roasting or reheating?

An oven is an oven and it is one of the very few items in the kitchen that pricing is 80% brand name.
