U all must knw its entry level, so maybe slow n not so good resolutions etc

POCO M3 this entry level smartphone, at least better than those entry level phones from SAMSUNG, HUAWEI, oppo, realme and vivo.

With 599/699 this price, we can't find UFS 2.1/2.2 and dual speaker for multimedia from others.

First we're going to disable MSA (MSA stands for “MIUI System Ads")
Go to: Settings > Passwords & Security > Authorization & Revocation
Disable "msa", sometimes you have to wait a few seconds before disable it, or even re-try again. This can take a minute.

Next > Go back (In Authorization & Revocation) > And go to Privacy > Ad Services And disable "Personalized as recommendations"

MiU:
Folders: Hold the name of the folder, the same if you want to change the name of the folder. Disable the "Promoted apps" below to remove ads. Unfortunately this process has to repeated on every folder you use.
(Note: EU versions doesn't have ads in system software)
Themes: Personalized (Bottom right) > Settings > Disable "Show ads" & "Personalized recommendations"
Google Store: Install a app (doesn't matter what) after installing it switch to another screen (scanning) > Settings (Right above corner) > Disable "Receive recommendations"

Next up are the MiU Apps:
Security App: Settings (Right above startup screen) > Disable "Recieve recommendations"
Mi Music: Settings (Left above startup screen) > Advanced Settings > Scroll down > Disable "Show ads" You can also Disable "Online Content services" as well.
MiBrowser: Personalized (Bottom right) > Settings (Right above corner) > Scroll down > Other > Advanced > Disable "show ads"
Mi Video: Settings (Right above startup screen) > Disable "Personalized recommendations"
Downloads: Settings (Right above startup screen) > Disable "Show recommended content"
Cleaner: Settings (Right above startup screen) > Disable "Show recommended content"

I have done all the above steps. Somehow when i open chrome it still have ads. How aaaa..?

Chrome do not have ads block function.

If you don't want to see the ads during the time you are surfing the internet, you should use a internet browser that supports ads block function, like SAMSUNG Internet.

chrome ads not under xiaomi miui. it's from chrome itself. u can try to reset ur chrome setting to default (sometimes we accidentally click to enable some notifications in Chrome). this will revoke all the notifications & ads permissions in Chrome to default setting.

other than that, u may use any ad blocker apps (free / paid one).

That's odd. I never had any ads on Chrome on any of my present and past MIUI devices.

The ads are usually on the factory MIUI apps, which I rarely use and when installing a new app (the MIUI app scanner serves up ads)

Other than that, I don't feel the ads are intrusive. Hardly see them.

Hi guys do u feel like when using your phone is like holding a dumb bell? I not sure if it is my phone cover problem or the phone itself is heavy. When use it one handed not even few minutes already feel hand tired.

I try drop it 1 cm above and the weight can really sound. It can even challenge the old Nokia as a new crab buster from its weight.

Me too. It's my first side finger scan so I have read ppl don't like side finger. Now I understand. It not so sensitive or maybe finger position difficult. Last time no problem with my iPhone front finger scan.

Now I mainly use face unlock or the pattern when face not working.

But they don't even include the official receipt in the delivery package. Thought SC always insist on official receipt to determine the staring date of the warranty. Any thoughts on that?

normally receipt not needed if u buy from official channel. they can just check from the s/n of ur phone. my previous warranty claim with xiaomi sg is like that. no receipt / purchase proof needed. they will honor the warranty. this applies for the purchase made thru the official channel. if u buy from reseller, then different story I guess.

to be on the safe side, print / save to pdf ur purchase details (lazada/shopee)

Not true, mine came with an official receipt - hardcopy in the box. How about the rest who bought from Mi Global Store on Shopee?

I wasn't worry about them "honoring the warranty". I wonder about how would they determine the starting date of the warranty as all these while, it was determined by the date on the receipt even though they should have all the details on the date, especially when it was purchased through the official channel.
