I'm selling off some used clothes on carousell. Don't know where to even start.

1. Do I get the parcel option? Do they calculate by volumetric weight?

2. Do I need to put my address on the parcel? Would rather my buyer doesnt know my address.

3. How to package parcel? Will brown wrapping paper and thread do? Reuse shipping bag?

4. How will I be charged?

I seen once how the online seller like you did the job ..i not seller but a view from buyer
1)yes..based on weight
2)no la ..its your buyer address on the parcel.
3)normally clothes if lets say very little, you ll be given the bag from the parcel company itself like pos laju..the rest ..its up to you how you want to pack.
4)depends on your weight ..i recall poslaju one is a out 15 ringgit..better check with the parcel company

Firstly, you will only pack the items after they are sold (you receive funds + postage fee, dont so naive postage first before money yea)

1. Weight + address, but cloths are usually still well within the next category thus should not exceed RM10 easily. Another criteria is parcel size, if odd sizing + + $
2. Not anymore, the consignment note that you have to furnish when at poslaju will have sender's information & receiver's information. You can put general street address, poslaju not going to verify authenticity or accuracy of senders info.
3. You may place inside regular envelope or whatever packaging as long as 1 color (eg trash bag also can, just pack it tight) or you may purchase poslaju mailer bags (they have S, R, L & XL)
4. See #1

If you want more guided way, find the nearest Mailboxes Etc outlet, they have multiple courier options, usually the staff more friendly & hands on to guide. Then maybe next time u can direct go Poslaju.

1)If parcel is bigger than a certain size, they will go by volume. If weight is heavier, they will go by weight. They will choose whichever is more expensive. Since you are selling clothes, it is likely that they will go by weight. Because individual clothes won't exceed a certain size. Unless you pack in a box (I guess unlikely)
2)Don't have to. But put your contact number just in case you need to be contacted. Sometimes it will happen when delivery cannot reach sender.
3)As long as packed nicely can liao. Many options available. You can buy the standard pos laju packaging or like osme people suggest, black rubbish bag also can. But you need to tape it very well. Usually I just use pos laju standard package. Very cheap anyway.
