It will leak when when removed the water filter head so it’s something inside.
What’s disappointing is that the whole faucet was replaced just about 6 months ago so I didn’t expect it to spoil so fast.

Hi, I’m wondering if there’s any part inside the faucet that I can fix / replace instead of changing the whole kitchen faucet as the left head is having a bit of water leak.

the valve mechanism. you can change it as a whole set or its parts if you're able to identify the culprit. they are sold as a set for the valve or smaller plastic and rubber parts. access to the valve is by removing the handle

Will have to unscrew and check them out. i once had a leaky tap too with the disc type valve as in pix s in this thread.i manage to get to the part to unscrew the valve off the tap body . but it was impossible as it refuse to turn . to force it might damage the the tap surfaces . Any clue how to losen it so can unscrew easy The valve have be sitting there and seem like fuse to the body . The disk valve have many different specs and not many shops carry them . i guess most people will just get a new tap . This post has been edited by Momo33: Sep 7 2020, 08:53 AM |

It happened right at the time when hardware shops can open on specific days during mco and that was the only hardware shop nearby. Quite expensive for 6 months i agreeI guess for faucet you should go either damn cheap or damn expensive, no point buying in between. My RM30 faucet last time lasted for 3 years before it failed. |

Quite expensive for 6 months i agree most of these faucet are made in china these days as seen on sale in shopee despite having euro names can say cheap from 15 rm , single outlet to 50 rm for a double outlet. they are OK . my kitchen faucet usually last about 1 year . maybe due to usage about 50 times a day and bath room one s last about 2 to 3 years. the disk valve can get worn causing water leaks. |

Yeah.. and not all of those expensive faucets are built to the price point. Ikea 200 bucks range is pretty good already. Super long flexi hose and easy to install..
