Getting Started

Hi guys, morning.
Just starting to play around audio for my daily driving vios. It's a 2003 G spec so it has tweeters which means I best get component speakers. Been looking for a new set on shopee but I saw a lot of good brands are like 80 bucks or so... Are these genuine?
Reason I'm asking is because every seller on every platform also sells same price. Please share. Thanks!

if its too good to be true, its fake. unless they are official dealer/shop
OEM and all kinds of terms to confuse you but still not original.

Nakamichi is a subsidiary of Chinese holding company Nimble Holdings. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NakamichiI am not sure if they still have pure breed of old Japanese tech. If the price is too low then its too good to be true. The downside of having chinese manufacturer: the product easily duplicated and rebadge. It happens to other top Japanese brand like Alpine also. No more top Jap brands anymore. Nowadays mostly rebadge China OEM stuff. Sansui, Akai, Aiwa, Nakamichi and more.

The company marketing strategy has change from quality to quantity by cross selling it..so what do you think?

It is difficult to control or stop others from other countries to sell to another countries. Even there is no law to stop one from importing product and sell in country, bypassing the authorized distributor. The only thing they can do is just to track the serial number and honor warranty based on that. However, many still willing to buy gray market product since they believe a high chance that the product will not break within that warranty period.

Gray import by unauthorized seller, I meant. You cannot stop them. They only provide warranty through them. They sell cheaper price and customers know it. This is common even for branded product. Not only here but also in the US. There is no law to stop it. The product is not fake either. Willing buyers will buy. Others who want warranty by manufacturer will avoid. Many seller like this on online shops. It is stated if the warranty is by local manufacturer or by seller. If in doubt, you can ask the seller. They will tell based on my experience. If price is too low, probably fake product.
