Hi, am looking to build a new rig and place it below my TV. I would like to keep the TV as low as possible so I think a horizontal solution would look great.
Would be reusing a Superflower LeadeX 2 gold 1000W to power a Zen 3 CPU plus RTX3080.

As I don't have much other constraints other than height, I would prefer a full matx and above motherboard with a ATX power supply. However such horizontal case are limited.

Currently I have found the following:
1. Thermaltake Core G3 (no ATX powersupply support. Plus I have to buy a seperate PCIE4 certifed riser cable to fit GPU. The cable is very hard to find)
2. Masterbox Q300L (abit too fat at 230mm, plus horrific thermals unless modded)


Any other case to recommend? Most horizontal case is meant for HTPC and have horrendous airflow.

Else Ill have to mod the hell out of either case...

What is the height limit?

would like to keep it below 20cm. 18 if possible.

Any other things like,
Tempered Glass Side/No
Needs Feet on the btm
Depth limit etc etc
I currently use a S340 elite and placed it on its side using the tempered glass screws as the feet.

The height/fatness is the only issue. I feel that thinner looks better and I can mount my TV lower. Tempered glass and good cooling is a must, the rest can mod . Smaller depth and width is better, but not critical

Looks good, I can consider the H510 as well but even without feet its more than 20 cm.

JONSBO G3 HTPC from Niclasteoh. 3x12cm (+ optional 2x8cm) fan looks not bad for ventilation...

Thanks, Looks like a possible Gaming HTPC case. CPU cooling is limited though, don't think AIOs fit, maybe a low profile top down cooler will work.


I think the best option might be to just buy a new furniture to mount the entire setup lower, then anything works
