So those monies spend for r&d just songlap?
*
not monies or R&D problem
newer engine just cannot accept that much pressure as pre-2000 engine...material is different

and CVT is not for u to drive fast with, it's for city/fuel saving drive
many people don't know and whack it like no tomorrow
u want a car that pulls at high speed, get conventional auto with actual gear inside...5AT/6AT

Grandpa, keep up with times. Today's aluminium blocks are made just as strong. Hypercars making 700HP are also using aluminium blocks. Regardless of cast iron or aluminium, the block would had still blown under the same situation - water hammer.

the difference between a hypercar and this is that this car is a daily driver, hypercars aren't
and clocking the mileage do make a difference on the wear and tear

supercar/hypercar u don't even know they got drive even once a week or not
and most of the time, not even yet reach mileage...it's already time to change oil
and since when u see which hypercar being dubbed as "reliable" before laugh.gif

The point being, for the application, aluminium blocks are fine and just as strong, and iron block is not gonna save your block from being blown in this situation.

it's fine but u can't keep pushing it
but in this case...it's weird...it's a honda engine somemore
don't understand why or how water enters the engine rclxub.gif
