My honda civic 1.5T engine blows out during driving. The engine has not been modified even a screw.All service and part is done by honda sc every time except air filter only.Honda Malaysia gave the reason that the engine was “Water Hammer”and reject warranty. But when my car broke down, the weather was sunny...
My car was pick up at 19 February 2019 and only used for 1 year and 6 months.
Now I finally know how honda malaysia shirks responsibility.

A small engine with a turbo is only for saving the trees or satisfy the tree huggers. It can make lots of power but need to take care of fueling and strengthen the block first. Aluminium block not recommended for high HP.

The strut bar cause excessive vibration to the engine. The eyesore external bodykit not properly designed and strave the radiator of air. The black black colour on everything soak the heat via radiation, cause engine overheat. So warranty void for engine blow.

Grandpa, keep up with times. Today's aluminium blocks are made just as strong. Hypercars making 700HP are also using aluminium blocks. Regardless of cast iron or aluminium, the block would had still blown under the same situation - water hammer.

The point being, for the application, aluminium blocks are fine and just as strong, and iron block is not gonna save your block from being blown in this situation.

With struct bar aftermarket kits and after market air filter.already gave wrong impression to honda at the first place

Nope. Unless u pump all water inside your car. This won't happen also. Car is using injection. the mist won't do much harm to the engine except for some knocking. If u flood the engine then yes u get hydrolock
