Got convinced by all the benefits by Affin Duo, thanks to the thread especially when I am using e-wallets topped up by DC anyways. Contacted an agent and directed to visit a nearest branch to open SA, then she will liaise with the branch with my cc application.

Chose to go with SA/FD pledge for around 3-5k first (Credit limit will be granted based on the pledge amount made), as my first card as a freshie (Beggars can't be choosers!), hope to build my credit as early and mostly paying using e-wallets anyways.

Is there anything to take note with this mode of application? Hopefully all will goes well too, much thanks in advance!

Update: Just received SMS from Affin that application for Affin Duo has been approved, surprisingly fast. Wonder how long will it take for the receival of card.

16th Aug: Went to the bank to apply for SA, pledged 4k for the Affin Duo Graduate Program, smooth and fast service from Seri Petaling branch, despite limited to 5 customer in the premise.
18th Aug: Agent asked for income source as general enquiries from Credit Department.
19th Aug: Receival of SMS

Shall I activate both cards upon receival since sst is applicable for both despite activation right? Set aside the reimbursement for the mastercard.

25th Aug: Called up the branch and got notified to collect both cards before 2pm (MCO closing hour). For those who haven't receive sms or call for card collection, feel free to call the respective branch, maybe members too busy

After that, agent then promoted their BHPetrol "Touch & Fuel" Mastercard with some gifts and mentioned upon approval, if not activated, will not be charged with sst.

It will still show in your statement around 3 months, but no need to pay the amount, as advised by CS previously

From my experience, in the case of Apple Pay + MBB cards, usually yes. However, Affin is not under Samsung Pay's supported bank merchants:

If exclude TnG, no unfortunately 😜 Maybe try Boost, will risk banning your account as well

As long as 12x transaction go thru, any methods should be fine

Yes, but take note it will become non-transferable unlike previously can easily cashout 😜 offline and online checkouts only like TNG
