Hi guys. I just submitted an online form to apply for Affin Duo. Too bad cannot check to mail the card, only can pick up from branch. Can I ask what is this Affin Pledge Savings Account? Does it mean I have to open up a savings account with the bank in order to apply the Affin Duo CC?
How long was the process for you guys?
Thanks!

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Jan 24 2021, 08:22 PM) Are you applying AFFIN DUO for Graduates? Nope, now that you mentioned it, I realized that part is for Affin Duo Graduates

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Feb 2 2021, 08:53 PM) That is the standard reply. Can be shorter or longer. Mine was shorter, but cannot recall the actual no. QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Feb 2 2021, 08:55 PM) Mine is about 2 weeks plus. I see, thanks for the reply. Lets see in a week's time. Thanks!

Hi guys, my card just got approved last week and CS told me that the branch manager will be calling me to pick up the card within 5 working days. I saw that there are some forumers that said they wasn't informed to register internet banking while at branch, so I want to ask what are the other things that I need to be doing at branch besides activating internet banking so that I don't have to make the trip again?

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Mar 3 2021, 02:30 PM) pre-register internet banking only they will pre-register one card then you use that card to register yourself for the interent banking Ah, I see okay. Thanks for the heads up. Very much appreciated! It took quite long for my application lol, sent documents late January then after that stuck at my HR response to confirm employment then after that another 10-14 working days and now finally waiting for collection at branch.

Just got back from the branch picking my duo card. Went past CIMB and BSN damn many people queueing... then Affin has no one queueing at all (business not as good as the other two banks perhaps haha). Process was quite fast, registered for internet banking on the spot thanks to cybpysch's suggestion.
I have only activated the cashback card for now.

Hi guys, I was checking the affin online website and found that they have charged SST on my cashback card (rewards card not yet activated). Will the amount be refunded later on once I have made min 12 transactions?
Thanks!
Edited: First 3 years should be waived right?

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Mar 5 2021, 01:47 PM) Why 12 transactions? Service Tax =/= Annual Fee Ops ya. I confused both of the terms. Thanks for pointing it out.

QUOTE(liverpooluc @ Mar 26 2021, 09:58 PM) With the launched of Go+ from TnG wallet, we can maximise our top up for maximum cash back! QUOTE(jianwei90 @ Mar 26 2021, 11:35 PM) really a good news... is like a bigpay alternative for those that used to cash out from ewallet.. thanks for the info but it seems there are some charges when you cash in to Go+.. Wow thanks for the info. Now can topup TnG only to maximize the RM2667 for cashback!

Anyone saw this in their e-statement? Up to RM100 cashback with balance of RM8,000 and above. Below RM8,000 max cashback of up to RM50 only. Did they just raised the bar?

Hi all,
I saw my statement for May and was getting only RM10.59 for the cashback despite having previous balance of RM3,154. Any idea what is wrong? I used Boost, Grabpay, Lazada wallet and TNG Ewallet to top up for this month.
Thanks for the help.

QUOTE(1mr3tard3d @ May 17 2022, 10:04 AM) because your current month spending eligible for cash back only amount to ~ RM 353 your cash back limit is determined by the previous month balance but your actual cash back amount is either the lower of the limit or eligible spending I see, there were two transactions that I made on 12th, but first posting date is 13th and second on 14th. The second transaction on 14th is RM2,750, that would make the total amount eligible to be RM3,103. Weird that the second one posted one day later, cause the first and second transaction was made back-to-back. Thanks for the clarification!

QUOTE(cybpsych @ May 18 2022, 02:30 PM) i see then your 2nd transaction posted on 14th (RM2,750) will get the cb on next statement Ahh okay, so I should expect RM80-RM10.59 = RM69.41 in the next statement or RM50 max? This should also not affect the following month's cb right?

From the looks of it, after new T&C for Affin duo, it still remains one of the best cb for ewallet top up.
