Oh, so the balance transfer actually count into the "Cash back entitlement quota" eh ?
Meaning to say my last spending to meet statement amount will be :

Last Spending = RM3,050 minus BT instalment* amount minus cashback amount

* BT instalment amount above = BT divided by 12
*
yes, because it only check previous statement balance, NOT what's inside them (line item)

RM3050 for those target on RM50 cb, if you aim for RM30, you just spend RM1k enough (<RM3000).

Even if your balance transfer amount is 3050, you still need to spend on eligible transaction to earn cashback. You don't earn cashback on the balance transfer amount.

So for those of us aiming for RM50, we will make sure to spend RM1666.67 on eligible transactions every month, and then fill up the rest with balance transfer such that statement amount >3000.

You don't understand what I said I think.

You do not get cashback on the BT amount. If you spend RM630 you will get RM18.9 cashback, not RM30. BT amount doesn't matter to those who are not targeting the RM50 amount. In fact even your RM1030 isn't optimal, you only need to spend RM1000, because the RM30 cap is available for any spend < RM3000. BT does not help you at all because your cashback not dependent on previous month statement amount.

Where BT helps is for those who are trying for RM50 cashback. They would need statement of RM3000. Meaning total amount on the statement before cashback of RM50 should be RM3050. If they have BT of RM400 (like you do) they 'only' need to spend RM2650 per month to get RM50 cashback.

Why RM1030, not RM1000 or RM999.84? (for RM30 CB)

If you targeting RM30, just spend RM1000. Nothing to do with BT.

My experience is yes but for the statement in which the transaction was made only. Not every FPP payment during the tenure.

Nothing wrong, CB cycle already clearly stated in T&C since Day 1. No dispute!

whether approved or not, that's a gamble u gotta make.

Hi all.
Thinking to apply this Duo card for the ewallet cashback.
Was reading thru the post and noticed that SST for one of the card can be avoided by not activating it. Is this still true? How about the annual fee?
With no activation, annual fees will still be charged after the 3 years waiver right?
