you do know this is a fairly new card?

perhaps you can try both cards with small amount and see which one gets the benefits.

Me too, the agent call me then give me whatsapp. Submit eform yesterday Friday, received call today morning.

i checked today via IVR. it says 'application is successful'. Much faster than i expected.
Hope they will delivery the card soon.

I applied via Affin online page on 5th September. 9th September agent whatsapp me for documentations. Until today, I checked with Affin customer service and that agent, my application is still not in the system.

Is there anyone having a similar experience?

According to the standard protocol, it take 14 working days to process the application.
If able to get the fast approval consider as a plus point.

Hello all, if you are staying in Ipoh area and you plan to apply for these CC, i can recommend a Affin sales officer. For my case, i happy to get my application approved within 7 days. I did the submission by eform.

please note that i don't get any benefit in any form from the Affin sales officer. Purely just a recommendation for anyone who needs such service.

went to branch open BSA + setup online banking. Officer didnt question much on the account opening and done within 30 min. biggrin.gif

Got. I whatsapp my agent. After 2 working days i checked against IVR successful. Mine was about same timeframe as you. Only applied online 1 day earlier.

You whatsapp your agent dulu.

I still havent receive sms from affin though. Feels like mine i slow compared to majority here.

Is it your first card? Mine, sms of successfully adding card came on the 7th working day. Mine is about adding new card. So anyway, 14 working days is normal.

11-Sep: submitted additional credit card application, sales officer visited and printed EPF
21-Sep: Missed out two phone calls after lunch hours

Luckily they call again and able to picked up, I was requested to send the cards to branch instead mailing address since some incident shared here, it may delay to receiving cards

After 1 hours, approved credit card message received

RM0.00 Your request on Additional Card for Affin Bank credit card has been approved.

Hopefully cards arrived end of this month

Affin branch called back (after complaining multiple times) to ask me wait till this Friday before calling to replace (expedited process).

Staff asked whether i chose Courier or Normal Mail. Told the staff, i use the Add Card form, no option to choose delivery method. Didnt even know the application form got Courier option! laugh.gif hmm.gif

Staff said HQ received 7xx+ returned packages from courier due to owner not available. hmm.gif

submitted online, but no avail, so reach out to one of the forumer contact, so managed to pass him the doc in HQ last Tuesday, today is approved. waiting for the card to received. thank god this approved, as I've applied SC JOP pretty much a week earlier than this one, and got approved this recently.
