has anyone gone through the process of untagging the pledged FD for Affin credit card and use income documents instead for getting the new credit limit?

Have to cancel and withdraw fd
Then reapply again with income doc

I've received my DUO card, love the design of the card.
Activated the VISA card only, thanks to the advise from the members here.

To my surprise, it came with the BHP mastercard which I didn't apply.
I rejected it but they said need wait for 6months and call-to-cancel.

I called CS to verify and they said can cancel but I have to wait 3 - 4 weeks after the cancelation period, only can apply for my DUO+

put a threat to them

0. DO NOT ACTIVATE the card. by activating it, you are deemed to accept the card and all the t&cs along with it, eg fees, SST, etc
1. you DID not explicitly apply the bhp mastercard, you have the right to cancel without delay
2. ask them to cancel the card IMMEDIATELY as they are breaching proper code of conduct by applying additional card without consent!
3. if you want, cc to BNM Telelink, for their unscrupulous tactic. or you may do this later after if the card still listed/registered to you.

recently just got Duo approved but found out in AffinAlways there is another card which i did not apply, is it done by the personal consultant which i applied at the branch on purpose or regular behaviour from card department to add-on card that customer did not apply for?

Hehe you should tell Affin officer that NO BHPetrol station in East Malaysia.
BTW since Sarawak Government is becoming the major shareholder of Affin. I hope Affin will launch Petros credit card as well.

Sarawak: BP (British Petroleum) never had a Petrol station here. Currently no BHPetrol station in Sarawak.

Sabah: BP used to have stationsin Sabah but divested to Petronas long time ago. Not like West Malaysia where BP stations were converted to BHP.

Just like some years ago HLB was offering TouchNGo credit card here. The manager told me he had KPI to sell TNG credit card as well. Hahaha.

sometime they offer also no use.

Digi voucher BurgerKing cannot use in Sabah
UOB CofeeBean buy 1 free 1 cannot use in Sabah
No BHP, No castrol
Both my favorite and petrol tooo, haha when im at west malaysia. Now all ban (FROM me myself) hahaha
