I want to apply this Duo cc but Affinbank branch is too far away from my house, 35min drive.
if I apply via eform, is it a must go branch to do bio verification?

As I was informed, but not sure if it is true, you can email/WhatsApp the forms and supporting documents to your local branch, once it is approved then you go to the branch for verification and collect the cards.

Two cards but pay only one SST, so 50% discount by default.

Same here, tried request for Affin BHP SST rebate but failed.
Seems Affin is quite rigid on SST charges.

If this is true, it is saving so much time to drive and walkin to the branch.

As per my understanding, bio verification is not compulsory.
Some banker could proceed the application all the way via email and deliver the card to your mailing address.
No physical attendance required.

Came back to office and picked up the envelope collected by my colleague, yes it is the Affin VS. thumbup.gif Activated and changed PIN. After lunch will drop by the Affin bank near my PJ house to get online banking matter sorted out. Then, pray hard my Duo will arrive on any day in next week so that I can collect it when I drop by office again on 28th before going back to Seremban. Fingers crossed.

Abit stupid question, how to know when my statement date is?

The cashback is based on statement date (like PBB) or monthly cycle (like maybank)?

affin's cb follow statement cycle/date (T)

however, transaction MUST be posted on T-1 day in order for the cashback to be calculated and credited on statement date (T).

if a transaction falls on statement date (T), the cashback will be calculated in next statement date.

For syabas payment, we still can pay via e-wallet which still entitle for the cashback 3% thumbup.gif
