my insurance autodebit already ~1.2k+

kinda waste

may need to shift one of the premium to another card
*
Hi, can explain why waste? My insurance autodebit is around 1200 too hmm.gif

Now is question of when is the actual cut off. If transactions made before 12 march, will they still give RM80 CB

Saw this AF waiver below listed in Duo Visa but not Duo MC, do I need to fulfill certain condition for AF waiver for the Duo MC?
Got the Duo cards in Jan2021, so Jan 2023 will be the start of 3rd year.

26/01/23 Ann Fee Waiver

Both Duo cards r on the 3rd year, should be AF auto waiver without condition right(3 years free AF waiver) , cos it is too late to swipe 12x now but i only see AF waiver for Visa but not the MC.
*
Correct, so starting now have to swipe 12x

You don't even need to spend RM1030; just RM1k will do.
Some of us have insurance premium of >RM1K which is kinda wasted since all we need is just a statement balance of exactly RM1K to get the RM30 cashback.
*
Ya same, but if balance above 3k still can get max RM50

Kinda wasted to spend additional RM2080 just to get a measly RM20 extra; that's even lower than 1% return. Might as well shift the insurance premium to Maybank Barcelona (1%) & spend that RM1K on eWallet instead.
*
Still have BT / Flexipay to cover the balance requirement. But i do get your point now.

Just checked with CS, as long as your statement date is after 12th March 2023 then maximum cashback = RM50 no more RM80 even though we spend before 12th March 2023

Isnt there an announcement that rm50cb starts only statement cycle ending in April?
*
Ah okay, i missed that. so means affin is aware that they cannot enforce it for transactions before the effective date.

Make sure it’s not all eWallet. EWallet maximum cashback is RM 30 only.

They still have 0% balance transfer going on? Mine is ending already in 2 months.
*
I just did the BT yesterday. If not mistaken ending on 28 Feb.

If i do the 12 months Eiplan, how will it affect the cashback?

Lets say RM2000. Will the statement show (-)RM2000 hence affecting the next month's statement balance? Will the RM2000 still get cashback for the month?

the cash back will be credited based on the transaction instead of the instalment

the eiplan will only credit RM 166.67 to statement balance

Hi seniors, trying to apply for the affin duo, got rejected twice due to my employer is in "high risk industry".... first time hospitality, second time financial service, any tips or should just let it go?

I already have mbb ikhwan amex, pbb islamic visa plat, rhb shell, mainly spend on online bills: tnb, unifi 3k+, is there any other recommended cards.

Thank you.
