The affin duo plus the plat card? They called it trio?

I asked them to split the bill into 250 so can get to pay by just waving the card.

affin VS with 3% contactless

Anyone here ever try,
Topup RM 5K from affin CC to shoppe pay,
Convert the transaction to 12M instalment (0% Processing fee)
Cash out the money from shopee pay to bank?
*
why the hassle for 5k?

shopeepay has strict policy in withdrawal. especially recycle from cc topup. not worth the risk getting suspended.

Kinda need a cash money at the moment.
If topup to bigpay they limit to 1K per month only.
not worth it.
*
cc > ShopeePay > sspn > withdrawal

rm999 + rm1 fee for each sspn payment in ShopeePay

however you may have utilized ShopeePay monthly limit too. so, may not able to fully utilize rm5k this month.

I saw in standard chartered credit card there, that one user from affin said that affin is more better than SC.
*
you need to do your comparison for yourself. everyone is different.

what and where do you spend?

which cards you prefer? any preference to bank?

Cashback or points?

have you read thru the card's features, benefits, t&c, faq, etc?

Do we need to spend 3080 or 3000 to be entitled to full cashback next month?

I actually spent 3080. Just want to confirm the actual mechanism. Will the cashback received reduce the outstanding balance for cashback calculation?
*
the FAQ on the revision stated PREVIOUS BALANCE.

it's not about spending, but the statement balance amount.

it could also probably the "your previous statement" only start in Aug .... meaning statement balance 3080 in July, not June as previous assumed

Finally received my 2nd statement today.
Previous balance : RM 25
Cash back : RM 57.18
Total spend from 14 June to 13 Jul : RM 3k+

Very confuse on how to calculate cash back.

show full statement list (remove/hide the descriptions)

we assume all your transactions are eligible since they are e-wallet and auto debit on insurance.

After using GE insurance for years and this month is the first time that I received SMS about auto-debit is unsuccessful. I have changed to Affin few months ago and no issue all this while. May I know if anyone has similar experience before? In such situation, should I check with GE or Affin?
*
both parties

affin - check why the attempt to charge failed.

ge - get the agent to checked the fail reasons captured from their system

failed to charge could be few reasons:

1) card expired -- unlikely for Affin Duo, for now

2) insufficient credit limit?

3) card terminated, but not updated in GE system -- i guess unlikely for you since you've been using it for months now

4) you requested swap card, but not updated in GE system -- did you recently change cc autobilling for GE? from my experience, changing cc autobilling will take few days to take effect, GE agent recommend dont update when you're near charging date

I managed to call Affin and I was told the attempt was yesterday's 6.00 a.m. and coincidentally they were having maintenance at that time so it couldn't capture it.

Also got my agent to advise, he said it is normal as he also encountered before. In the SMS, it mentioned that it will re-attempt again on 31st July. He said, GE will do it, so no worries. Only if 31st still having issue, then he will help me. thumbup.gif

Thanks for the advice. biggrin.gif
*
yeah, GE will reattempt in few days time as per sms.

kinda odd that GE attempt charging this early. my GE charging is usually 8am+ sweat.gif
