Applied Affin Duo on 5/4/21 under Young Graduates program and made RM1k pledge. Yesterday, received SMS saying my credit card application is successful.

How did you apply? Mine was rejected by Affin, thinking to join under this programme

Yup, the credit limit is based on how many Ringgit we pledged when we applied for the cc. RM1k is the only number I can stomach to 'pajak' to Affin haha.

Actually, couldn't you spend RM1k, pay it off immediately, then spend more?

For CIMB card, I could pre-pay my card to increase available limit, like lets say I have a 3k limit and I dump in another 3k while at 0% utilization, CIMB will show that I have a 6k limit immediately. I've called CS to confirm I can use the card this way to buy things with a single transaction price that is above my credit limit.

Anyone with Affin Duo can chime in about this?

Just got my card today, from entering to having my online account fully ready took 20min or less. Pretty happy!

Dumb question, but anyone got a recommended way to pay Affin CC from CIMB/MBB? Always paid CC with respective bank SA/Pay CC system, haha

I key in all the information but when i press on "Request TAC", it shows error message "FAILED TO RETRIEVED RECORD (.B01)"

For the first year, I only need to pay RM25 for both cards, but from second years on wards, i gonna pay RM25x2?

what information that you need for application? 1 month payslip is sufficient? or they not also EPF?

they said 6 months lah. no matter now near i still need to cross state also. you think police will accept my reason ah? cross state to redeem credit card

Hi, without online banking, I can still received my credit card statement and cash back auto credit into statement balance ? (As Stand Chart cb need to be redeem in apps/web).

Wanna login to see if I get cash back for TnG eWallet transaction but who knows I didn’t spend anything on it for this statement cycle, only Shopee Pay and Lazada Wallet. Does the recent TnG eWallet issue affect Affin Duo as well?

May i check with you guys, how to check the statement date?

1. I got my card and activated on 14/4
2. Swiped TnG eWallet RM1667 and BigPay RM1000 on 14/4
3. Bank charged me RM25 SST on 14/4
4. Received cashback of RM50.01 (should be cb of tng) on 16/4

Based on your experience, is my account statement is on 16/4?
And the BigPay 1000 cb will be carryforward to 16/5?

so the bigpay will be calculated in May cashback, right?

Just for example my credit card already cut off, just want to know if the cashback based on statement date or calendar month? Like if I spend now will it be qualify for my May’s RM80 or must spend on next month only qualify?

Means if I spend now it will qualify for next month RM80 right?
