SST being charged in my statement. Paid the statement balance tgt with SST.
When call to call centre and ask for card cancellation, the cs say SST will not be refunded and once SST being charged to the card, even if you call for cancellation you will still have to pay for the sst.

I thought SST is charging advance and no need to pay if you cancel the card without using the card once SST being charged?
Anyone experiencing the same ? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, when i tell this to cs. CS say "Affin have their own tnc for SST". However, cs say will proceed cancellation and seek for mgmt approval to refund paid SST. Lets see how it goes. Didnt expect Affin so strict on "refund the paid sst on unused cancelled card" doh.gif

The cs didnt mentioned bout retention offer at all haha but its ok for me i guess since the cashback i getting is much lesser than Rm25. Small amount usually use ewallet and Quantum when above Rm30

Encounter the same this week, receive sms then call them. The card is blocked d but i still saw the outstanding balance including the fraud amount bangwall.gif
They claim the trx posted on the same day lol.

Btw do you make any call request to waive off the finance charges since didnt pay for the fraud trx?
They told me i need to call to waive off the finance charges cry.gif

hmm for your case, the fraud trx amount is exclude from your balance directly?
Mine still include in the balance and just have another entry with "DISP bla3".
Called cs they say juz pay the balance exclude the fraud trx. Dk will kena finance charges like others or not confused.gif

Any1 knows that if late payment for 4 days will trigger 1 in ccris report for affin and if they willing to remove the 1?
